I'm in the final stages of a mini-itx build, current spec is

    Case: Bitfenix Prodigy
    Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe
    Intel i5 2500K
    Corsair H100 cooler
    Corsair 500W PSU
    16Gb Kinston HyperX Ram
    OCZ Vertec SSD
    Gigabyte GTX 550ti
    3TB Storage drives

I've been slowly building this up over the last 4 weeks or so, whilst using components from my previous system.

I'm in the market for a new new graphics card and have my eye on an Asus GTX670-DCMOC, I'm just wondering if theres any better alternative for the above build? I think I might need to upgrade the powersupply if I jump up to a 670 or would a Corsair 500W PSU be sufficient?

    Thanks

A 500W corasir psu is plenty for a modern gfx card.
Prodigy will take a full sized graphics card if you remove the top drive cage.

I would get the best full sized graphics card possible in line with your budget.
    What is your budget?

Also bear in mind AMD should be announcing their 9000 series of graphics cards in the next month or two which should bring prices down on the current stuff hopefully....

My budget at the moment is about €300, maybe a little more for the right card. I've a full size GTX550ti in i at the moment but the Asus just looks tidy in the prodigy!

I picked up this: MSI GTX770 twin frozr for €335 exc delivery. Discount applied if you select if from geizhals.de and I think you can get a €5 discount code.
Tests have it pulling 330W overclocked at load though so hopefully your PSU is up to it.

That being said, a couple of Gigabyte 660ti's at €358 total will give better performance, but more power needed

EDIT you probably can't fit SLI in that setup

That was total system power tests I'd say. The gb 660ti oc only uses 135w of power. A pair obviously twice that. I'd say the 770 is using 200w max.

Ye it was total system power so this should be fine
