Double and treble listings - EPG

The epg using our Sky HD box is showing duplicate listings for the same channels - BBC 3, BBC 4 etc. It is also not letting my add any more channels to 'favourites' even though I haven't used up the 50 slots. I tried the unplugging and rebooting trick in the hope this would fix it but no luck. Is there anything else I…

if you have a paid subscription then ring sky, but if no then try a software update trick. turn off box with remote, unplug from wall, wait 5 mins. then, and this is tricky but essential, press the power on button on the box and at the same time press the backup button and keep these pressed while you turn on at wall. Then keep both buttons pressed until you get the message " SOFTWARE UPDATING"
