    Hey guys,

I'm getting a ssd today and i'm planning to install windows in it, I currently have a 1 tb hdd wifh windows already installed as my main drive so i'm wondering is it possible to make my ssd the boot drive and use the hdd as a secondary drive without losing my files on the hdd as I have several games on it. Thanks.

What I did, was copy the files I wished to keep (i.e. music etc) onto an external hard drive used for storage/back-up, reformatted my 1TB HDDs (To completely clean the shít off them) and then just installed windows to my SSD, and move my files back to the old hard drives.

Sweet thanks. Does adding a second drive just involve opening my devices in my computer and allocating the hard drive?

You plug it in and power it up, boot into Windows and it should just recognize the new HDD.
