RENT ALLOWANCE

    Hi,
I am currently living in my first rented house and i am getting help off the rent allowance. At the start they paid my deposit.
I have now found a new place to live and my new landlord also wants a deposit and the 1st months rent ( which i cant afford ) .

What happens my deposit from my first rented house (paid by rent allowance) ?
Is it carried over to the next house or am i not entitled to it again?
Note: i am leaving the lease 3 months early because there is so much wrong with the house.

And obviously if i could afford the first months rent myself, i wouldnt be getting help with rent allowance so can they really expect me to pay the 1st months rent up front? plus a deposit?
    Thanks :)

If you're breaking your lease, you won't get your deposit back, and the social welfare won't generally pay a second deposit. Rent allowance is paid in arrears, so you pretty much need your deposit at the very least, upfront.
