Today, having received a security number in the post, I activated a new payee on Bank of Ireland.

The letter states "Did you know that you could have saved yourself time by adding this payee using your mobile phone".

I want to have the ability to transfer 20,000 to this payee and per Bank or Ireland website, this type of payee must be activated by way of code received by letter. The option of using mobile phone is not available. If the website is correct, why does the letter fake false statement above. Surely, it should say if you only wish to transfer up to 3,000 then you could have set up this payee by phone only.
