Im a LC student and I'm just wondering if anybody out there would be able to give me advice about what I should write in my personal statement, what courses aren't available under the DARE reduced points scheme and tell me about their experience in college with regards disability support i.e use of a laptop, exam accomodation etc. I'm cons dieting doing law with french or law next year in tcd ucd or ucc! Your personal statement should outline how your disability impacted your learning. Either through missed time at school due to illness or hospital visits, episodes where you could not properly attend your studies due to your illness or how it impacts your performance in exams.

There are a list of colleges participating in DARE on the web site link above. Where a college participates in the scheme, generally all courses in that college are available.

If you check the college web sites under disability access they will let you know what is available, here is TCD site

The accommodations are good and are tailored to each students needs.
