My 90 days will be up soon and I'm going to go home and she will visit at Christmas time. Can anyone give me any advice on how we can spend longer amounts of time in each…

You have few options. For the USA, you can try for a work visa if you have rare skills, or maybe a student visa if you can afford it. You could also apply for a B2 tourist visa, which allows a 6 months stay, but they are often reluctant to grant there to people who can visit 90 days on the VWP because they wonder how you can support yourself without illegally working.
