Camping In Limerick

    Anyone know a nice place to camp near Limerick city (30km radius) or south east Clare? Maybe by a river or a lake? Thanks

    Thanks but I have to be in Limerick city at 10am so it may be a little too far and I was just looking for somewhere to camp for free. Like off the track of some loop walk with nice scenery. Thanks again for the suggestion though.

    there's a caravan park in Adare, just out the road. The one is Curraghchase is closed at the moment in case anyone is directing you there.

    There's a small place (caravan park) just up the 'low road' beside Bunratty castle.

    You have Mountshannon but its a bit of spin up North East Clare. You have 2 spots out in the Glen of Aherlow but again a bit far out.

    Dunno about wild camping but keep well out of the city if you must wildcamp.
