No joy for me yet! I emailed last week and was told that it would start on Monday (two days ago) but I haven't heard anything yet. A bit worrying when we are supposed to be able to pick up our student cards on Monday 9th!!

Nah, nothing here either. I can get to pre-registration but that's it. Have access to my email, but I was in Trinity for my undergrad. Typically things do run a bit behind schedule (I think the PG reg was meant to happen at the end of the last month!) but hopefully it's coming shortly.

Yeah I emailed the communications officer wondering about the same thing and got a reply from the president (oh lawd) and he said you should be invited to register within the next couple of weeks. So no worries, they just have it broken up a bit so the site doesn't get flooded with people trying to register at the same time.

I've just been able to register and to therefore get access to my email account. You have to have paid your fees in order to complete the process, if you haven't, just as a heads up.

Had to convince my hotel to let me borrow their printer since I've moved to Dublin from abroad and am not moved in yet! Had been hoping to have all this done before I left home earlier in the week, but no such luck.

I know they said have it printed off, but last year they had access to printers there, so you don't need to go to extra trouble...

There were a lot of similar problems last year. Keep trying, and if you still can't register online just call into Student Fees.

Did you get any solution to this problem? I'm having the same issue and Ask TCD haven't seen fit to look at my enquiry while Student Fees haven't seen fit to answer their phone or return any calls today.

Hey yeah I called into the office and they said there was a technical issue and that they would hopefully have it sorted by tomorrow morning.

Though I didn't get any call back or response from Ask TCD, the problem does seem to have been resolved in my case.

Ha, trust me, you aren't. They've billed me for something around €7,500 that I don't owe and I can't register until they realise that. Gah.

Well, some of the people in my class last year weren't able to pay fees/register til well into October, so if they haven't managed to sort out the system in the last year I doubt it'll improve much in the next couple of weeks!

It's a hassle, but I honestly wouldn't worry about it, they will get you sorted eventually!

October... jesus.. ah yeah just be nice to get student card, email etc :)

Yeah I know what you mean. If you do continue to have problems, the best thing we found last year was just to call into the student fees office in person. They can't really fob you off that way!

Has anyone tried going in to the fees office yet this year? I'd like to get this sorted before the Freshers descend...

Ok, for anyone who is wondering about going in to the office: I went in earlier (after a nice little detour to Foster's Pl - remember it's in the Hamilton now) and they can't accept money, but if there is a problem with your bill (especially for scholars/grant holders) they'll take your name and student number, verify your entitlement and email it to a dude in the fees office who will update your bill. I was worried the place would be packed and the staff would tell me to bugger off, but there was hardly a wait at all and the woman I dealt with was very decent.

Mine is working just fine :)

If you have any questions I have noticed that Ciara from the postgraduate office always replies. She is very friendly. If you need her email address send me a pm

My registration page is still drawing a blank and my financials aren't showing anything. All I've paid is the deposit... Is it worth going into the office or should I wait it out?
