Financial help - Illness Benefit Appeal

After 6 months of unsuccessful rehabilitation I had lumbar spine surgery at the end of July.
My Illness Benefit was stopped at the end of August. I appealed this decision and waiting for any outcome.
And there is a question. While waiting for appeal officer decision where to go for financial help. I do not have any other income and I am not able to work yet after surgery.
Should I go to my local Social Welfare Office, health office or any other institution who can support me financially??

Go to the community welfare officer in your local health centre

Also - have you sent in your appeal. The INOU are almost experts at social welfare appeals and they may be able to help - 018560088

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
