Confused after interview

    I applied for a job and had a interview on Monday. It was manager that interviewed me as no HR department.

    He went through all the usual questions and then went through the hours / salary etc he spoke to me about the other staff and what the role would entail.

    Then he said I had the strongest CV experience
    Wise and gave a great interview and he would like me to come in and meet the owner.

    He said he would be in touch on Monday eve or Tuesday to set that up and asked what way I was working this week.

    I havent heard a peep and now
    I'm starting to think he was bull****ting me altogether. I know these things take time but he had already done a reference check.

    Any thoughts on this? I'm going crazy wondering and its too soon to send a follow up email!
