    Hi All,
05 petrol hyundai getz has been off the road for about 5 years due to a family member passing away. it hasnt been started/moved etc. battery is obviously dead.

what sort of work would it possibly need to get it road worthy again?
    id appreciate any advice given

    4 tyres
    Coolant change
    New battery
    Oil change
Possibly bushings but you may get away with it

@Colm thanks for the pointers. would you reckon the sump gasket would need to be done at the same stage?

Maybe the one on the sump plug, but they're only about €1

If the car has a timing belt, I would change that too before starting. Turn the engine over by hand when the plugs are out to check everything is ok.
