    Hi,

Just looking for some advice about getting Bluetooth into the car. Have an insignia and it currently doesn't have Bluetooth connected. it has the steering wheel controls and everything else, it's just not connected. I got a quote yesterday of €600.

Just wondering does an integrated blue tooth add extra value to a car compared to an normal car kits?

    Thanks

    CBTC

Not sure about increased value per se but it's a handy feature to not have extra gadgets in the cabin.
Do you yourself think it's worth the dosh?

It wouldn't add any value over a regular kit. these things are just easy money for the manufacturers.

It costs twice as much to put in the proper one as it does for a standard.

I doubt it will increase value, but certainly will increase interest from potential buyers . 600 is an too much... chancers. there is few manufacturers who makes blue tooth kits with steering controls, shouldnt bee more than 200 .
I what car you want instal... just curious.

Get a parrot kit and the ISO loom that integrates with the OEM steering wheel controls. Best of both worlds.

If you are going for a full retrofit in one you'll have to get a larger stereo display too as usually they come with the small two liner one with a little storage pocket underneath. It's an expensive enough job as there's more to it than just connecting the bluetooth module.

Opel do a basic bluetooth kit if that helps and it's supposedly quite cheap and doesnt stand out too much.

Failing that you could just get a parrot kit fitted.
