Viber messages intermittently stuck "sending"

I have an Xperia U on the Three network with the prepaid all you can eat data.

I notice however that some messages get stuck in the "sending" phase and in order to be sent I need to resend it, in which case the recipient receives to messages at once.

This happens with about 1 in 20 messages and is irritating as sometimes I don't notice it stuck in which case the message goes undelivered until I do notice.

This is using 3G, I've yet to try Wifi.

    Anybody else have this problem?

    Hello,

I have tried sending via Wifi this morning and have had the same problem once or twice.

I am using the most up to date Viber I think ( 3.1.1 ) so maybe it is a compatibility issue with my phone.
