Starting 1st year on the 10th, and just have a query, what time do daily lectures etc run to? Are all days different times? I'm commuting and don't have a car/lift, will be getting the bus from Mullingar, last bus home is 5.30 :/. My brother tells me I might miss important lectures/labs because of this, so just looking for any information from current students as I cannot find any myself!

    Thank you :)

First thing to do would be to look up your course timetable. You'll find that course times will change a lot over the next few weeks. If you're in different groups for your course, you may be able to change places with someone else with a better time, don't be afraid to ask others in your class about this as well. There might be someone else living in Mullingar doing your course too, you might be able to arrange a lift.

Also, don't forget (like I did, this time last year :o) that the bus leaves the train station at 07:45 in the morning now, it used to be 08:00.

Ah, seems that the latest classes are at 5:30 :/ Means I might have to sacrifice some classes if I have no other option :(

To be totally honest missing classes regularly is not an option. You will only be damaging yourself. There has to be someone from your area passing with a car.
