Back Pain

This is driving me nuts now, I get a killer pain in my back after 10 km, any type of climb at all makes it worse and Ill have an ache all day the next day, I dont think its the saddle as its the same whatever way I position it, if it was the saddle surely my ass or groin would be sore?

I want to keep extending my range but its too painful, the back pain is the limiting factor. I was off the bike for a few days last week and when I got back on I did 30 km from Bray to Wicklow and 30 km back again, 100% increase on my previous best distance and I wasnt even that tired afterwards, next day it was back to struggling home after 10 km with this horrible deep ache at the base of my spine.

Any tips? Its not a question of getting used to it as Ive been riding most evenings for 8 months or so now.

Time to get a proper bike fit done? I think it's about 75 euro IIRC.

Sorry but if it's that bad you need to see a doctor or physio, and Boards does not allow medical advice so I'm closing teh thread
