YouTube problem

I'm unsure if this is a problem on the side of the site or with my computer, but I've noticed some problems with regards the main YouTube site and any embedded links that might be posted in thread.

Some technical specs first, which might help:
    Windows 8 64 bit
    Google Chrome Version 29.0.1547.62 m

    Here's the problem:
Say if I have the YouTube site open on a video - not playing, just on that page. Then if I visit a thread like, for instance, the Random Video Thread over on Cool Vids & Pics on a separate tab, then the embedded videos on that thread simply won't load until I have shut down the YouTube tab and refresh the Random Videos one or else it takes a few minutes to load the embedded YouTube file.

Again not sure if it is some clash between the Shockwave files, which actually does force a crash on the rare occasion, or my laptop, or the site, but it might be something to look into.

I'm having a problem with embedded youtube videos, they are showing up just as a blank white square, no picture or sound whatsoever - nothing to even say they are a youtube video. Changed my computer in work today (I have no idea of the spec, but it's brand new so....??) I can view the videos on youtube, just not when embedded. Any ideas?

I'm finding I have to refresh the page a few times sometimes to view embedded vids. They just appear as a black window & don't play

It's been working fine for me the last few days, but I definitely had the problem of a black square showing instead of a vid, requiring refreshes.

Windows 7 same problem as described.

It seemed to be Firefox at first, but Chrome suffers from it as well.

I get six of my subscriptions posted to me every week and five of them open and one does not.

So that throws a spanner in the works, or may lead someone to understand.

Incidentally, I just realised this was a bug report to Boards.ie ~ it's NOT confined to boards.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
