Car Insurance List Prices (04 Mondeo Deisel)

    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what my insurance company should pay out on a stolen 04 Mondeo diesel? Robbed from the Electric Picnic car park this weekend (which sucks, majorly).

CBG reckons about 3k value, but some colleagues reckon the insurance list price could be as low as half of that should they pay out on it. Anybody any experience of this?

    Thanks,

    Biff

Hi, did you get an answer to this anywhere. I've just had an accident and the cost of fixing my car seems to be more than its worth, no idea what happens in this case. I have no idea what price the RSA are working off, seems very cheap.

it is my understanding that total loss payout is based on the (trade) book value of the car. most garages have these books ask a friendly one for the book value of your car.
