    Hi all

    Hoping for some advice here.
I'd like to find a church that could help me find my way back to my christian faith again. I would like to find one that's aimed at people in the younger age bracket, I'm in my mid 20's. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

As per OP's requirements, the Catholic church has had a successful recent world youth day at Rio - link.
As well, there has been the new youth focused catechism http://www.youcat.org/home/ to explain the doctrines of the church as a resource - Youcat. It is also available from Amazon.

Depends where yopu are and if you're tied to any particular denomination.

CORE in Central Dublin has a good rep.

No church is aimed at young people per se, but some will have active youth organisations. A good example is http://www.merrionroadchurch.ie/inf,2.Useful-links.

One of the 2 priests there was ordained in 2010. They have a very active youth group. Just ask the priest to point you in the right direction.

As Georgie says, the Church is kind of open to all age groups, but there are indeed some great youth groups attached to many parishes. Also, lectio groups which are truly wonderful..

Hope you don't mind me saying afterglow, but if you are looking to find your way back and feel called, perhaps start off by sitting quietly in your local parish and just talk to Him in your heart, or just sit in silence with him, it really works?

I was away for twenty years and after many 'heart' conversations over the course of a year in private, all alone in the Church with Him I found my way home. It only takes moments for some, but in my case it took a lot of discernment and that's cause I'm quite the skeptic - had a bit of a wall to break down in order to hear. Joshua and Jerico come to mind..lol...

All the best. I'll keep you in my prayers :)
