Tried reading them but couldnt get into the books at all- was looking forward to the movie though! However like you it's not what I imagined Mr. grey to be like at all!

The book was an hilarious piece of rubbish written by what seemed to be a primary school student with English as a foreign language.

I can't imagine the film version being much better, regardless of the lead actor.

Yup, would need a REALLY good screenplay writer to convert a badly written book into a passable film. Still, glad she is making a few bob for herself.
