    Hi Guys...

    Just wondering..

Lets say u have a solution... 500mls and someone tells u that there is .4% taurine present in the solution.

How do you calculate how much taurine is in the solution in mg?

    Cheers

% of a substance in a solution is usually the same as the number of grams of the substance in 100ml of solution (or ml of substance in 100ml if the substance is a liquid).

    So, a 1% solution is 1g in 100ml.

That should be sufficient for you to calculate it.

    0.4% of 500
    =0.4% x 500
    =(0.4/100) x 500

    Then use calculator!
