Lads ive had my new QNIX now for a few days and have noticed that my idle temp for my 7970(stock cooler) is around 49c when it used to be 36c @1080 res... While gaming its only a few degrees above the old 1080 playing bf3..

Does that sound about right to ye???

Is it clocking down to 300/150 at idle though?

    Sounds like its not.

It wont clock down when its on a certain res or if has multiple monitors. That is completely normal for a hd7970.
