Hi all, anyone deal with or have any experience of this company for Broadband. Would like to hear if they provide a good service and what speed and pings you are receiving at different times of the day and how far you are from one of their masts.
    Thanks.

K, I've seen a few reviews on here, but they are very old. Anything fresher?

Okay, I understand this is a serious necro, but I've been a customer of Eurona up until recently. So, for the sake of posterity and of anyone who happens upon this thread on Google, I want to offer my opinion.

Overall, as someone who lived in a rural area with hitherto limited access to decent Internet, Eurona was a mixed bag. Their satellite was a useful alternative to the 4mb connections offered by major providers, affording us a mostly stable download speed of 800-900 kb/s. For a gamer and streamer like myself, faster download speeds was a massive quality-of-life improvement.

Sadly, the benefit was shrouded by the low download limit. For most of our time with Eurona, 200GB was the monthly consumption limit, which would render me a paranoid wreck after downloading a colossal game from Steam or EA Origin. Data had to be consumed parsimoniously after such big downloads, which was a huge kick in the phallic region. After some time, they increased it to 300GB, which was much more comfortable, but dropped it down to 250GB, to 200GB, then back to 300GB over the course of a few months. Strange way of turtle-heading your perks, but whatever.

Their e-mail customer service is nothing short of worthless. Any e-mails dispatched later than 3pm were almost never responded to, prompting us to voice most of our concerns over the phone. Whenever e-mails did come, they arrived in atrocious English, meaning that several days of correspondence were often required to solve any issues. If you dislike dealing with customer service vocally, you're going to be disappointed.

Internet for the most part was consistent, but dips in speed and outright losses of connection happened a little too frequently for my tastes. The phone reception was also mixed. Our line would occasionally fizzle, and calls would devolve into total incoherence at certain parts of the home. Solutions offered by customer service were temporary at best.

Funnily enough, their customer service response times and data limits actually improved when Imagine LTE arrived in our area. Too little too late, I say. Now, they're looking to swindle 60 euro out of us to take down the unsightly mast they installed near the roof of our home (after paying a similar amount in installation fees). They won't accept us taking it down ourselves. Not the nicest way to say goodbye.

In conclusion, if you're in an area with few alternatives and you have a pressing need for higher speeds, give them a shot but keep your expectations low. If you don't use the Internet often, don't bother your behind. They're a five out of ten. Maybe a six on a good day.
