    Hi folks,

A long time dodgy tooth has just split in two vertically. The tooth is being held in my mouth by the gum but its very wobby.

I know the tooth has to come out tomorrow. Not fine as I'm a very nervous patient, shaking with fear as I type. But that's another story.

However I'm worried that the tooth may become loose overnight and cause a problem.

My question is should I wriggle and remove the large piece of wobbly tooth or should I leave it?

    Thanks in advance.

UPDATE. Wore a mouthguard last night. Broken tooth still very loose. Hoping to part company with the tooth today. Going to leave this up as there is no information that I could access on the net giving advice on the above problem.
