I know there is a lot of threads on this, can't search for them on my phone for some reason?!
I still can't make up my bloody mind I want something decent for commuting and also for mountain biking,
Anyone any recommendations or could someone point me in the direction of a good thread on it?

Most lights with the power for MTBing will be way too powerful unless they have some sort of dimming settings. Just make sure what ever you order has one.

I've a magicshine thats 1600Lm. Plenty for MTBing. (MJ-872 LSET) Have had it for a year and gave it some decent use mountain biking last winter. Getting up in the snow was spectacular. Still running well.

Just remember that if you order from dx.com you might get stopped by customs and have to pay tax. Happened to me on another light. Not the end of the world, but a bit of a pain and a few extra quid.
