putting out FYM

    cut silage today and have a lot of fym to go out.

    does it make any difference if I put out the fym straight away or should I give the aftergrass a chance to get going first before I cover with dung.

    Straight away. That way grass that comes up will grow through the FYM and be cleaner for grazing.
