I find that my electric screwdriver tends to shear the head of screws, and in turn make crap of my screwdriver bits. And crappy bits are morelike to shear the head of screws, and so on.

At this price the bits are practically disposable. Use them a few times and chuck em. I got 100 delivered today - the quality seems fine and No. 2 Posidrive is probably my most used bit.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003L1PWO4/ref=oh_details_o01_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Obviously you need to spend £25 to get free super saver delivery.

To get free shipping you need to spend 25.

But with regular shipping the price is 4.67 as the product cost is 68 cents. ;):)

€5.39 for 2 packs sent to parcel motel, so €8.89 in total for 100 pozi bits

    Cant go wrong!

I have some of these Am Tech bits as well as drill bits and wood cutters and indeed one should consider them disposable.

I broke one of their Impact wrench adapters for impact drill driver and I have also broken a wood clamp at the 'steel' curve head?

    Just saying.

They were originally coming up as an amazon product with Super Saver delivery. Amazon might be out of stock, but it'd still a bargain through Parcel Motel.

That Am-Tech stuff is garbage! Probly be fine for a few cheap screw bits but I wouldn't waste money on any of their other tools!

If you're in the position where you might actually use 50 bits, then 50 poo bits is a false economy compared to 25 decent ones, then again if you just like collecting large quantities of diy things they will be fine :-p

I just tried to order and GOT THIS:

    Order Summary
    Items: £3.49
    Postage & Packing: £25.00
    Order Total: £28.49
    How are delivery costs calculated?
Why didn't I qualify for free Super Saver Delivery?

To Dublin!. Think they are drunk or maybe on drugs

Because you only spent 3.49, you need to spend 25 pounds on goods.

Anyway in reply to the op. screw heads shearing=crap screws, bit heads shearing=crap bits.
Buy decent screws and a few decent, popular size bits, problem solved.

those actually might not be too bad - basing on previous am-tech tools that i had contact with i guess there is no chance of ruining any screw head with those bits ;)

but for regular use i would recommend something from wiha

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wiha-PZ2-Tresor-Set-Pieces/dp/B00BU30WC2/ref=sr_1_66?ie=UTF8&qid=1378200416&sr=8-66&keywords=wiha+bits

it should easily outlive whole box of am-tech bits

Unfortunately, a lot of issues surrounding spinning out of either bits or screw heads is purely down to either wrong fitting bit and/or lack of pressure on the drill/driver.

:Make sure the bit fits snugly: that's more than half the battle ;)

You aint using it correctly and havent got it set to the correct torque and speed so.:pac:

Also possibly not using the correct size of pozi-bit to suit the actual screw heads.;)

More likely that an injury to my shoulder means I can't exert the correct amount of pressure.
