App for saving PowerPoints on iPad (without internet)

    Hello

I'm working in a school and all the teachers have been given iPads and are using Dropbox to store their documents. They'll need to access these documents (Word and PowerPoint) offline as the internet in the school is emotionally unstable.

We're looking for an App that we can store them all in. We have them all arranged nicely on laptops with folders arranged according to years/activities etc. so they're not keen to just store files within Pages/Keynote.

Is there such a thing? Is there an App that can simply take a whole file from Dropbox and place it somewhere on your iPad that can be accessed offline??

    Thanks!!

Err does Dropbox not actually do this already? On other platforms you can select "export", and save the file anywhere on your device. If not then it must be an Apple limitation, bad decision :)

I'm with you on the bad decision. We weren't given a choice!

Dropbox shows the items but we can't open the documents without internet. One solution is to mark absolutely everything as a Favourite. It seems favourites are available offline. Just hope there's no limit to what we're allowed mark as favourite!

Can you mark a folder as favourite, then stick all your stuff in there?
