Opinions on a new car

    I'm looking at buying a new car in the next month or so, and I (think) I've narrowed it down to these options... Either a 1.4 VW Bora, a Skoda Octavia or Fabia, or a Seat Leon/Ibiza.

    I don't have a tonne of money to spend so not looking at anything over around €1500, also for insurance reasons don't want to go above a 1.4, and have a 1.3 now so don't want to drop below that..


    Has anyone any experience with any of these cars? Common faults etc or does anyone have any alternative suggestions I could look at?

    They're all basically the same car - all made by VW using bits from the Golf/Polo parts bin.

    For that price I'd probably go with whatever you like the look of most, and whichever one seems to be in the best shape.
