Hand Luggage departing.

Well lads, I'm leaving Portugal tomorrow via Faro Airport with Aer Lingus. I'm 16 and I plan on bring back tobacco products as gifts.. I want to put it in my hand luggage is it safe for me to do so? And can I bring lighters back on my checked in bags? Im leaving in about 8 hours so a reply is needed fast. Thanks.

When I say checked in, I mean the bags that go into cargo and not in to the cabins. You sure I can bring lighters in them? The lighters consist of a zippo and 3 average lighters.

Proof of age will be required to purchase tobacco products.
Lighters in hand luggage no.
Luggage in the hold: Zippo yes, standard lighters not if they're filled with gas.

Thomas. Know of the amount of tabacco you can bring through Irish borders as well to avoid import charges

You can board a plane with up to 15 fluid lighters and 2KG of tobacco. Anything after that has to be checked in
