RRED - Running Analysis

Has anyone done this RRED- running analysis workshop in the Sports Clinic in Santry. The notion of evidence based treatment as opposed to quackery appeals greatly to me.

I'm of a mind that good runners have efficient running styles- I'm not certain if there is an optimal running style but I do believe there are bad running styles that limit ones ability to run faster and without injury.....

I'm thinking of trying to learn how to run better- if I was a golfer I'd work on my swing or if I was a swimmer I'd work on my stroke. I've never worked on technique ( I not counting hill work which I'm told helps technique) so I think it might be worth my while

I could also consider ChiRunning or the POSE stuff but I've not met anyone that has done any of these courses and don't know if there is anything beyond anecdotal evidence to support them.
I also hear good things about Rene Borg and his Champions Everywhere work....

I'm doing this tomorrow. I'm looking forward to trying it out after running for many years but I've been injured on-off for past 2 years (linked to cycling injury I believe). Just keen to get back out on the road for some consistency and to get fit again after a frustrating time. The spec paperwork I got said something like helps prevent injuries, improves form and speed (paraphrasing there)...all sounds promising though for a desperate runner 😄ðŸ˜႒

Interested to hear anyone else's experiences and I'll post mine up when I get a chance.
