Huge Moth found in South Dublin

So I found this massive moth in my bedroom, can anyone tell me what it is? Its pretty freaky but I wanna do right by it, feels like I can't just throw it out the window, it's not a great flyer.

Its actually more like a bath, thats a bat/moth hybrid, I checked my pokedex but I'm not finding anything.

If I had to guess I would say it's a Poplar Hawk Moth but it is getting towards the end of their flight time so I can't be sure. I don't know much about Lepidoptera I'm sure some one will give you a more confident answer! What type of vegetation have you around the house? (trees included)
