So a question for golf ball recoveriests on here:

I've got myself 50 ProV1's second hand for a great deal and they are 'just back off the course' and are a little dirty etc. Is there a good way to clean these and buff them up a bit? I was gonna chuck them in the dishwasher but my spidey sense is saying no.

Leave them in a bucket of warm water with some bleach for about 20 mins. Then scrub the bejesus of of em... Make sure to wear gloves ;)

Bucket of hot water with a cheap dishwater tablet for half an hour, giving a good stir every now and then, then you won't have to scrub too much with an towel afterwards.

I don't use bleach or anything like that just a nail brush, fairy liquid and some elbow grease! Apart from Wednesday am getting good at using one ball per round so its only in the last year I've had to do this!!

looboss.. its a really strong bleach.. just steep the balls in it over night and no elbow grease required. even the blackest of balls only require the rub of a cloth afterwards and their good to go. shiney as new.

I am more of a fairy liquid man and some elbow grease....wouldn't fancy allowing bleach near them!!!

If I wasn't too lazy I reckon I could gather about 100 balls a week from a certain part of our golf course!

with the water being so low after the fine weather, there's lots of balls to be found in almost dried up water hazards!!

Thats a cert, there are some out there who make a nice bit of pocket money collecting golf balls like that.
