    Hi,

I have two really nice porcelain figures measuring 14 inches in height. On the bottom of the figures there's the crown and the N, but the issue I have is that the markings are in black as opposed to the usual blue. I will post a pic of the marking. Any help would be great

Don't worry too much about the mark.

The authentication will will in the quality and characteristics of the piece.

Cobalt is close to black by nature and only turns blue with the firing of the piece.
Sometimes there can be black-ish marks.

Good Capadimonte pieces will have an 'under-glaze' blue mark , whilst modern examples have an over-glaze mark.

Tip the base against the light and try to identify whether the mark sits on the base or if it rests under the glassy coat.

pop an image up and we can have a look

Modern Capadimonte sells for a lot but is not worth a lot.

What would a piece like this be worth?

    Hi Clint
I think this example may be quite late... very heavy and glossy
It is very nice though .......

What can you sell it for ? or what would it cost to purchase ?
