    Hi,
My friend is moving to allenwood co.Kildare and is trying to sort out his internet however all the internet providers say they don't provide it for that area. (Eircom, Vodafone, UPC) would anyone from that area know who does provide internet or does he need a dongle.

or does he need a dongle.

I would not recommend a "dongle" for home use, better get a 3G router with the option to connect an outdoor aerial (or at least a "mobile WiFi hotspot"). Another option are satellite internet providers.
