    Hi

Have just made the move from android to WP8 on a Lumia 820 and so far i am loving the OS.I am looking for a data counting ap to track my mobile data usage.

Its probably just me not being used to it but i dont seem to be able to get on with the internet browser on the Lumia. When i open it up it is on the last page i looked at and i dont seem to be able to open it on google or indeed just press a home button to open google straight up.

Can anyone give me any tips or if there is a better browser that i could install.

    Thanks

In the next update, gdr2, there will be an app called data sense which is your data counting app. There used to be an app called Counters but I think Nokia removed it.

There is no homepage setting in IE. The best way to get around this is the following: in IE, settings, use address bar button for:favorites. Then set your favorite sites. You can also set your default search to google within settings. So you can just type whatever your looking for in the address bar and it will go to google to search it.
