Luas to Abbey St. Then walk up the left hand side of O'Connell St and just past Dr. Quirkey's there are 2 bus stops just a few secs apart. From one of these (whichever bus comes first!), take the 4, 9, 11 or 13 to DCU. All those buses bring you to the Ballymun entrance and it's just a 2 min walk from there into the campus.

The 13 passes relatively close to Heuston station. That might be handier than taking the Luas to Abbey Street and then taking a bus.

Oh, does it? I'm not familiar with it's route after Dame St. For someone unfamiliar with Dublin it might be handier to get the LUAS though, at least until they get used to the area etc.

An invaluable resource for getting around by public transport is hittheroad.ie. Gives you several options. Option 3 shows the 13 route, 1 and 2 the Luas route which is €1.60 more expensive.

Hi guys, don't mean to bother everyone but I'm travelling up from Kerry to Heuston for the open day on Friday and I was just wondering which bus route would be easiest to take? Would route 13 be best? I've looked at the DCU site and even emailed the open day office, but to no avail. Cheers!

Post #2 above is the easiest I find. Usually takes @ 40/45 mins
