For the past six months I used a very expensive optrex eye spray at €18 per bottle but I found it brilliant for my eyes.

In order to save money long term I need to use the drops.

Can anyone with experience please recommend a good drops for dry eyes?

Artelac is less than a fiver a bottle. That's what they usually prescribe for people who've had laser surgery to deal with dry eyes in the months after. Vidisic is good too - about 6 euro that one and usually for very dry eyes i think.
    Both available over the counter.

I had an eye-test last week and I told the optician I have dry eyes and she recommended Vidisic also.
I actually forgot to buy some, so thanks for reminding me!

I can't swear by this but a friend was told by her doctor that as you get older you tear duct reduce in output and that omega oils increase the production of natural liquid in your eyes. Haven't googled this yet.
