Waking up to my girlfriend pt. II

The waking up to my GF thread had me thinking about how the OP's girlfriend and the other guy clicked, and I was thinking about a time in my life when I clicked with another guy's GF and something ended up happening. Just wondering if that's happened to anyone else here?

My story:

Enrolled in a month-long course during my work vacation last year. It was in a college a good distance from where I lived, so I had to commute for about 2 hours each way each day. Met a girl on the course who, it turned out, lived not too far from me in the city. For nearly the entire month, we used to get the subway and taxi together to class, and then back home again, and we really clicked and had good craic with each other. She had a boyfriend at the time.

On the final day of the course, everyone in the class went out together, about 12 people, and we went to some bars and a karaoke place near the college after the final classes. Everyone got a bit locked, had a laugh, and we finished at around 3am or so. Myself and the girl went to an hotel and booked a room because it was too late to get back into the city.

Got back there, and we were both a little nervous, but ended up taking a shower together and having sex that night and the next morning. Went for breakfast with the rest of the class and then took the 2-hour journey back into town, then she went home and I went home.

We still keep in touch, have gone out for drinks together and hang out sometimes, but have never slept together again.

I think it is more the fact that he obviously doesn't realise that he failed is the issue, if he did he wouldn't be bragging about it.

Apologies if it came across like I was bragging - I wasn't. The previous thread about the OP's GF and the stranger kinda spiked my memory. I realised that in the other thread, I sympathised with the OP, but then realised that I had been that one guy myself who was with another guy's girlfriend.

I guess what also rings true is what the previous OP said about his GF hitting it off with this guy; I also hit it off pretty well with the girl. There was also alcohol involved. No excuses or anything... it just happened, but at times there is a kind of an "inevitable" vibe about...

I know I'd cop some grief for this, so it doesn't matter, really. Just strange to see people's reaction to honesty, though. Never tried to glorify it, just gave the details. What people do with that is their business
