I'm going to be attending a thing with a Q&A with Vince Gilligan and a screening of his 'favourite episode' two days before the finale airs, as part of the Vancouver International Film Festival.
I feel no qualms about having emigrated now :P Dare I say I feel Vindicated..?

Yeah, it's a tough call, because I think if you're gonna have a bunch of people sit in a theatre and watch a single episode, you might feel a certain responsibility to make it either a fairly action-packed one, or else one with a lot of talking points, even if it's not you're favourite necessarily..
Off the top of my head (and on those grounds) I'd be inclined to think maybe
    106
When Walt first shaves his head; confronts Tuco in his office.
    212
Walt missing Holly's birth; Jane dying.
    307
Hank attacks Jesse; Gus calls off Tuco's cousins from Walt and directs them towards Hank; The Car Park Scene!

    Best episode ever.

On a serious note I'd guess it would be one of the final episodes in series four

I'll be interested to see which he picks as his favourite.

I went to a Q&A with him in 2010 and he showed the episode directly after the (Season 3 spoiler)
    plane crash
, with the monologue in the school.

    I'm jealous, he's such a nice guy.

This was f*cking great, what an absolute gent.
I wasn't aware until it actually happened, but he was interviewed by Damon Lindelof too, who was really clever and funny, and a daycent interviewer all round. It was nice to hear questions asked by another writer.

As for his 'favourite' episode, well he said in the interview that he hated superlatives, but obviously had to pick one, so he went with Face Off.

I forgot to mention that it was General Admission and we arrived towards the back of the queue, so we expected to be stuck in the back corner.
Nope! Seventh row, sitting right behind Vince's girlfriend, in some unclaimed 'reserved' seats :P
