Does anyone know a golf pro that deals with the mental game?
Anyone tried Karl Morris or is he just for the top amateurs/pros?
Or if anyone has ideas on how to give myself a mental break during a round.

Dr. Bob rotellas books. Mental tricks are like advice from an older sibling. Great to listen to but unless you put them into practice its like glossing over a magazine article. Get his books but study it not just flick through it.

I have the book 8 traits of a champion. which is quiet good. I was looking for more tailored coaching for myself. I probably could find it in a book but I'd rather have a face to face meeting.

Karl Morris does gigs in Dublin every few months. Last one was a tenner and well worth it. If you want to slash out I'm sure he does 1:1 sessions.

Patrick Geraghty in Druids Heath/Glen focuses on some of the more mental sides of the game. Worth a shout. Nice guy and a good teacher.

Went to Karl Morris myself earlier in the year, and found him very good.
We are all willing to spend hours on the practice area though neglect to invest in the mental side. One thing I started doing is noting down each game I played, a diary of sorts, recording all the positives ans no negatives. Can now look back and read about the great shots I hit :-), and from that your confidence grows.
Other details around routines Dr Karl recommended were very good too..nothing to loose and lots to gain..
