    Hi

Just scouting venues and were looking at somewhere south-east, We have seen some excellent deals for this hotel. I am looking for reviews online, can't seem to find any(I don't know if that's good or bad!) I am hoping someone here may have attend/had/heard about a wedding here.

    Thanks

Had our wedding in the Riverside in Enniscorthy and can't fault them. Good value package and top service. When settling up, the manager even rounded our bill down to the nearest thousand!

Or are you asking about the Ferrybank in Wexford?

The Riverbank is across the bridge in Wexford town. Really nice views out over the slaney estuary.

We went for a viewing there a few weeks ago. I was really impressed with it. It's small compared to most hotels but they've done really well with the space they have. And the size means that it's a fair bit cheaper other similar hotels.

I've never been to a wedding there but I've eaten there a lot and the food has always been outstanding.

    I'd definitely recommend viewing it.

One downside we had (and maybe this wont matter to you) is that we felt the ballroom is a little dated decor wise. Don't let that put you off viewing the place though

We looked at the riverbank - but we thought the wedding reception room was old fashioned and not as nice as the rest of the hotel. I love the rest of the hotel.

I think there are reviews of it on www.weddingsonline.ie.

Riverbank : not toooo popular in Wexford town for weddings (there are a lot more upmarket function rooms) in the Resturant the food is 5* ! It's pretty normal but cooked with excellence !

I've been to two weddings and umpteen Christmas parties here. One wedding was excellent the other so so but the venue itself done the job. The food was nice, not going to get a Michelin star but most plates were clear. I'm considering this place myself and going to the wedding evening on the 22nd. it may only be 3* but i would be more than happy to have my reception here. you get what you pay for, it's a little bit on the cheaper side so that means I can spend more on the decorations/lighting if needed. Hope this helps a bit :-)
