Level 8 Course

Can anyone tell me is a pass in a level 8 degree still a level 8 award or is it classed as a level 7 due to it only being a pass.

If you completed a four year degree then you have a level 8, regardless of the grade. A level 7 degree is a three year course.

It's just a level eight, it isn't downgraded by a level due to your results.

My BA was 3 years and it was level 8. It's not always four years.

Its still a level 8 regardless of pass grade once you have passed or its 1st/2nd/3rd class honour.

Same applies to level 7's doesn't matter of the grade you get its still a level 7 award.

Same applies to Postgrad certs/dips and masters they all level 9's with the exception of a postgrad cert/dip/graduate dip its a level 9 includes all the modules of a masters without a thesis/project while with a masters includes a thesis/project.

Depends on courses some of the three/four year courses are level 8's some courses are a year are level 8's though majority of courses that are three years are a level 7. Two years is a level 6 if full time, part time could be from year to four years depends on level.
