What games are you going to pre order ? As far as I am aware you will have to pre order some of the games if you want to avail of some of the special offers ?

I was thinking of getting :

    Assassins Creed IV
    Battlefield 4
    Watch Dogs
    Killzone - Shadow fall

But I don't even know how any of them play ? They could be annoying even.

Did a bit of trading in and pre booking today.

Kill zone, COD, AC 4 and Watchdogs all pre booked.

Guy in GameStop seems to think games will be 69.99. I am hoping he is talking out his hole.

I was thinking of getting them off amazon with the price difference. The only thing is that waiting for them in the post and no game to play. The most expensive is £47 or €55.

Not buying any from gamestop or symths at the expected prices, if Hmv does them circa 55? Thats not too bad. I've been saving since February so I can get

    Killzone(hopefully in the console bundle)
    Watchdogs
    Call of duty
    Battlefield 4
    Knack
    Driveclub
    Just dance 4

And I'l get FIFA if its floating round.

It's hard to get prices off the Irish stores but one pre order with a price is Fifa 14. Its €59.99 on XtraVision and £42/€49 on amazon.co.uk. I was going to get 4 games and it all adds up.

Gamestop are generally the most expensive place to buy games, I have no idea why anyone would ever buy games in there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to charge €69.99 for next gen games, when they are charging €54.99 or €59.99 for the new games on current gen.

Games can always be sourced for cheaper online. They are generally around £47/€55 on Amazon at the moment for next gen games. Current gen games were generally €5-10 cheaper in HMV (thank God they are returning soon, so there is a viable bricks & mortar place to buy games, that you won't be ripped off at).
