Hi my jsb finished this week and i got a letter saying i wont get jsa. my husbands income leaves me slighty over the rate. they took his pension payments into account when working out his income. we still pay my pension out of our bank account and if that was taken into account i would qualify for a small amount. does anyone know should it betaken into account? thanks for any advice.

Yes it should be. Provude proof that you are paying it, bank statements and something from the pension provider.

thanks for that Sue Ellen, By my calculations I should be entitled to 28 jsa and i've been told by a friend that the minimum payment is 40e so i hope i'll get that. i'll submit an appeal. does anyone have an opinion am i best appealing to my local office or the appeals office in d'olier street, mary

There is no minimum of €40. The amount can go down to cents. Appeals are sent to the appeals office by the local office as they have to send the file, I would send an appeal through the local office.
I would recommend you send it in for a review based on new info rather than appeal it as it would be quicker.
