Module question

I completed a FETAC level 5 animal care course in May but unfortunately didn't get a distinction in one of my modules which I needed for progression into UCD.

I recently found out a FETAC 5 Laboratory Science course could also get me into Veterinary Nursing in UCD and I'm considering giving it a shot instead of repeating Animal Care again.

I looked at UCD's website, and one of the entrance requirements listed is a pass in Animal Anatomy and Physiology. I've been looking around at Laboratory Science courses and none of them have Animal Anatomy and physiology listed as a module, only anatomy and physiology which I assume is just based on humans.

I already have a merit in Animal Anatomy from my Animal Care course, and I was wondering if that will count for anything? Or do I have to sit all of the modules in one go to get into UCD? :( If so, is there any way I can resit animal anatomy along with the other modules I'll be doing?

Sorry if this post sounds as confused as I am. Thanks for your help. :)

The best thing you can do is contact UCD Admissions Office and clarify what you will need to get to progress using either the Animal Care or the Lab Techniques award. Be aware of the following 1. There are very few places for FETAC applicants 2. Whatever award you are presenting you will probably have to complete it in one sitting ie you will not be able to carry modules and their results from previous years.
