Is the vu duo2 any good, does it have full 7 day epg on both terrestrial and satellite. also does it handle mheg5 for saorview digital text and interactive features via red button on bbc. can it also do series link from epg.

Is the vu duo2 any good,...,. YES best box I ever had
does it have full 7 day epg on both terrestrial and satellite........plugin called crossepg downloads data off transponder for full 7 day epg for sky uk on satellite and saorview picks up 7 day epg simply by switching to any saorview channel.
also does it handle mheg5 for saorview digital text ..... No and neither does any Linux receiver interactive features via red button on bbc.... YES adding to your bouquet of channels each stream on interactive BBC and sky sports are handled by separate channels.
can it also do series link from epg...... YES by using autotimer plugin it searches the peg everyday for the program name. Using vix both plugins above are incorporated in the image.

Have one too, to setup from scratch I followed the link below. I tried blackhole and didn't like it so then went with VIX and have been very happy;

Hi everyone ,

I am thinking about the vu duo2 , Looks class . Sorry pretty new to this as the sky box was always there. However sky seem to non stop repeats and all the freeview channels in addition to the excellent media player it offers will meet all my needs .

have vu+dou2 with latest vix build 753,but cannot get crossepg to update,download just hangs,
your help please.
