HI there just wondering if someone can hellp me.My dentist has told me that you cant get a filling refilled on the medical card if it has been done in the last 5 years.fair enough,so my question is,"Is their a central office where dental records are kept and updated and this being the case do I, as private citizen, have access to my own records."Thanks.

There is a HSE database of what they have paid for, ie a filling in tooth 25 etc. They dont keep other information like medical info or details of your dental condition. I am unsure about your access but I assume you could make a FOI/Data protection act enquirary.
