parking in Lucan

    I have just moved up to Lucan and was wondering about parking in st Mary's church car park! there is a sign up saying no all day parking and that the barrier will close at 4:15 but I have yet to see it closed down! are you allowed park here ?

    I imagine you're perfectly entitled to park there if you are going to a church mass/ceremony.

    If you are using it as a free general purpose car park to commute to work or the like, then you know the real answer.

    so it doesn't close? I am only enquiring incase I have the odd visitor as there is nowhere for them to park!

    There's lots of parking in the village. But you have to pay for it :p

    It's nowhere near as expensive as say Dublin city centre...

    What sbout the lay by outside St Joseph's? You can park there after 6 I think.
