Two questions that are bothering me

    (1) Is the now IKEA ad creepy or is that just me, the one with the plastic mother and son in the tiny apartment.

    (2) Is cycling in the city centre actually a form of Russian roulette especially if you don't obey the red lights.

Well if you are ignoring lights then yeah, it's pretty much Russian roulette, you're going to get flattened sooner or later and have no one but yourself to blame.

Something a bit disquieting about that Ikea ad all right.

That ad reminds me of one of the detergent ads from a couple of years back (Lenor I think it was). The one with the cloth family. Used to give me nightmares so it did.

    1. I know the weird ad with the big dolls* but didn't register that it was for Ikea, yes, creepy.

    2. Yes? There's serious lack of safe cycle infrastructure in this country. Also, the onus is on the guy strapped into the two ton metal box surrounded by airbags to look out for the unprotected folks walking and cycling.

    *Story time.

My Sister had a big doll the size of a 4/5 year old child when she was about 9/10. She was friends with it during the day but the thing was dumped outside the door at night. It was then thrown down the stairs by us lads because it was staring in the door at us.

That fcuking ad for talk talk TV is worse! Creepy plasticine freaks!

Barry Scott is worse again. Who does he think he is shouting at me while I'm trying to have my dinner.

The IKEA ad is quite unsettling. I think the girl is the boys babysitter, and then grumpy mum comes home after they've been having a right laugh and making a mess of her wonderful home with unique space saving ideas. Horrible creepy mannequins.

I think Barry Scott should do the Lenor ads.

Hmmm, I can see how that could work.

    (2)
Not obeying (some of) the red lights is completely different to ignoring them, your probably actually safer if you hop/jump early on some lights as you get ahead of the traffic particularly Artics
(Its thought this is why more woman than men get killed by trucks than men cycling in places like London)

Creepiest ad is that one with the Andrex CGI puppies. Made me shudder for some reason.
